Small Group/Bible Study
Bible studies here at St. Stephens are called "small groups". They are lead by Missionaries and Peer Ministers who guide their groups through organized programs that are typically provided by the church itself. Small groups are a great way for students to make friends and connect with God. If you are a student we highly recommend that you join a small group as soon as possible!
Join a Small Group
Primetime
Join over 100 other students on Wednesday nights during the school year. The Mass or prayer service starts at 8:30 PM and ends with fellowship in the social hall afterward. If you are looking for someone to accompany you for the first time, contact St. Stephen's we'll have someone attend with you.
Retreats & SEEK
Many of our students participate in retreats throughout the year. In addition to retreats we promote that are being organized by partners, we host an Antioch retreat fall semester, led by our students to create a community of conversion. We also sponsor a spring retreat that challenges our students to go deeper in their faith and empowers them to be bold in sharing the faith with others.
Over winter break, many of our students attend the SEEK conference organized by the FOCUS catholic organization. Over 15,000 college students gather from around the world for this five-day Catholic fest!
Becoming Catholic
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is modeled on the initiation ritual of the ancient Christian community. It is an experience of personal formation and spiritual growth, incorporating prayer, study, and reflection, with public rituals and community preparation. It is the principal way that today’s Catholic community welcomes new members who have not been baptized. Candidates for OCIA meet weekly on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year. It generally concludes with a solemn public celebration of the sacraments of Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil. To learn more please email us!
