GOALS

In 2022, St. Stephen the Witness established a three-year strategic plan with the assistance of Midwest Studies Group. In the spring of 2023, as part of the Archdiocese of Dubuque's vitality program, each faith community was asked to publicly identify 1-3 vitality goals for the coming year.

Our Goals for the 2024-2025 year are:

• By October 1, in partnership with our FOCUS missionaries, create and maintain 30 weekly small-group bible studies.

• By Feb 15, develop a plan to hire an additional person with development (fundraising) responsibilities starting with the 2025/2026 fiscal year, if not sooner.

• By April 30, in collaboration with the building and grounds committee, equip the parking lot entrance and the interior door on 23nd Street with handicap accessibility.

• By May 15, 2025, if not sooner, St. Stephen the Witness will purchase a new hymnal for its primary usage during liturgies, with the Spirit and Song book being regulated to a secondary hymnal.
